Diplômée de l’École des Beaux-Arts de Rouen (1992), des arts visuels de Paris I et la Sorbonne en 1994. Pascale PARREIN  obtient des résidences de gravure aux ateliers du Safrenier et du Contrepoint pour perfectionner sa technique. Son travail est aujourd’hui exposé  en France à La Fondation Taylor Paris (2025) en Europe, en Asie, au Canada et aux Etats-Unis. Il est intégré à plusieurs collections publiques. Dans son travail, Pascale Parrein aime confronter des parties figuratives avec des éléments très graphiques voire abstraits. Elle joue avec l’évolution des états d’avancement ou de destruction de ses œuvres qu’elle considère comme des objets vivants. Sensible au noir dans toutes ses textures et tonalités, l’artiste en explore toutes les possibilités pour créer émotion et poésie. 

 En parallèle, elle a obtenu une maîtrise en physique fondamentale et un doctorat en optique à Paris XI. 

Pascal Parrein lives and works in Grenoble since 2003. Engraver and painter, the artist has both a scientific and artistic background. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Rouen in 1992 and from the Visual Arts of Paris I la Sorbonne in 1994. In parallel, she obtained a master's degree in fundamental physics and a doctorate in optics at Paris XI. The artist has completed several printmaking courses, for example at the Safrenier and Counterpoint workshops. Thanks to her numerous trips to Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland and Canada, she has perfected her techniques and expression. In her works, there is a real exploration of the material, the interactions and the rhythm between the elements. One feels the search for invisible worlds, and unknown universes. Her minimalist and abstract style has been exhibited in numerous galleries, including those in Grenoble, Paris, Orlando, and Montreal.
